The aim is to introduce new PhD students to topics that arise in the life of a researcher in AI, including how to search for knowledge and state-of-the-art, how to access computational resources, how to write a scientific paper, how to make an effective presentation in public, how to measure the performance of scientific publications, how to disseminate research, how to collaborate in scientific projects, etc. The seminars will be given by speakers with a specific background on the topic of the seminar.

The seminars will be offered once or twice a week in the period February 2025 - May 2025. A Teams channel will be used to post news, notes, Q&A, and other stuff related to the course. The lectures will be live-streamed and recorded.

These seminars are without exam. Attendance (in presence or online) is required for at least 70% of the seminars to obtain a certificate of attendance.
